Saving one animal
will not change the world, but it will change the world for that one animal!

Our Mission Statement
Animal Adoption Network,
Inc. a 501(c)(3) Non-profit Organization, specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted and abandoned
companion animals. We never discriminate on the basis of health, age or breed. By involving and educating the Community, Animal
Adoption Network works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits
of adopting an animal in need. Our animals are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any and all medical treatment
before they are placed in carefully screened homes.
Pets
are for life. They deserve our very best efforts to keep them in the family. In return for their
endless love, they count on us to always be there to care for them. Pets do not understand life's bumps in the road that sometimes
lead to their rehoming. We cannot explain to them why they may need to relocate. For this reason, pet rehoming should never
be an easy solution to any dilemma. If all other options have been considered and rehoming is absolutely the only answer,
be reasonable and responsible. For complete article see our News Page.

Pet of the Week:

Bella is a sweet, funny and very playful little female Sheltie. She was dropped off in front of a house in Charlestown.
The people said that if no one wanted her they were going to take her to the shelter. Bella is still a puppy and loves
to do puppy things like chase the cats and play with her ball. She is a little scared of people at first and will bark but
once introduced she is very lovable and friendly. We are working on potty training and Bella has had a few accidents
but is getting better. Bella is approximately 5 months old, she is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and is
current on heartworm preventative. For more information on Bella please contact Pat Armstrong at (812) 737-2019
or e-mail aanok@verizon.net for an application. You may also download our application from this site.
